London calling!

Hi guys. 

We're in London now :) We arrived two days ago, at MacDonald Hotel near King's Cross. Have to admit, I was quite nervous because of the cheap accommodation, but this is nice. We got a twin room, and slept in separate beds the first night. I was cold, my bed was by the (a bit) broken window. Last night we moved our beds together, and today I told the receptionist (and probably also the owner) about it. When we came back from our city-walking today, they'd made our beds as one, with double sheets and a thicker blanket :) Nice, good folks. 

Yesterday, we got up at 7 am, and was out at about 9:30. Went to see Covent Garden and the surrounding areas, as well as British Museum. After we'd been strolling around in town for a while, we went back to get some sleep (haha). Later we took a walk to Camden. Ate at "my" thai/chinese vegetarian buffet restaurant ^^ Was nice. Had a beer at The World's End afterwards, before we went home to get some more sleep. 

We started this day (thursday) by taking the underground to Victoria, then further to Westminster, to see the Houses of Parliament and silly Buckingham Palace. I imagined laughing at the guards outside Parliament wearing a Guy Fawkes-mask. Ha-ha. 

I believe going to see the stupid castle today was the most stupid thing ever. LOADS of idiots crowding the place, think they were going to see the royals. Barely made it to Green Park alive! :O And bobbies trying to act tough ofcourse. 

We walked over to Hyde park, feeding some squirrels ^^ And some doves, and other birds and creatures. 

They fancied my boyfriend. 

We took the underground to Notting Hill, and looked around for a while. Had some pretty good vegetarian food, and muffin and black coffee at StarBucks (was sick of looking for cake..). 

Theeeeen, we took a bus to Camden, and ate Doughnuts. Nom ^^ 

We're in bed now, tired. So nighty then. Byebye.
